1. Who is responsible
ODBOSS, Inc., registered in Delaware, United States, is responsible for the personal information covered by this policy. We operate OddsBoss at getoddsboss.com and related administrative and service endpoints. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request”.
This policy covers website visitors, email subscribers, customers when paid services become available, people who contact us, and administrators using our management tools.
2. Information we handle
- Email subscriptions: the email address you provide, signup and most recent submission times, the consent text displayed, the signup page, and a country code supplied by our infrastructure provider.
- Technical and security information: request information such as IP address, browser details, timestamps, and error or security signals may be processed by hosting providers. Our signup database does not store a raw IP address; abuse prevention uses a salted hash and a time bucket.
- Support: information you include in correspondence and records needed to respond to your request.
- Payments, when enabled: billing and subscription records needed to administer a purchase, such as amount, currency, subscription status, and processor references. Payment-card information is handled as described below.
- Testimonials: the name, location, image, and account of your experience you agree we may publish.
Do not send us sportsbook passwords, government identification, full card numbers, security codes, or other sensitive information in an ordinary support email.
3. Why we use information
We use information to provide requested services and emails, administer subscriptions when available, answer support requests, maintain records of consent, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, protect accounts, and meet legal obligations. We do not use a privacy notice as a substitute for any separate consent required for marketing or a recurring charge.
Where a legal basis is required, processing may rely on your request for a service, performance of a contract, consent, legal obligations, or proportionate legitimate interests such as security and service administration. You may withdraw consent for optional communications without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
4. Service providers and disclosures
We share information only as needed for the purposes described here, with service providers subject to appropriate obligations, with your permission, or where law permits or requires it.
- Cloudflare: website delivery, security, and the private email-signup storage service.
- Brevo: email-list management and delivery when our email-sending service is enabled. Requested emails may include OddsBoss membership offers.
- Stripe: payment processing and associated fraud prevention when live billing is enabled. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts: the landing page requests font files from Google’s servers, which receive the technical information needed to deliver those files. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- GitHub: administration, source hosting, deployment, and administrator-credential verification. Subscriber addresses are kept in the private signup store rather than committed to website source files.
We may also disclose information to comply with legal process, protect people and our rights, or carry out a genuine business transfer, subject to applicable safeguards. We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Payment information and the current checkout
Stripe is our designated processor for paid memberships. When live Stripe billing is enabled, information submitted for a payment will be processed under the applicable Stripe notices as well as this policy. We do not store full card numbers or card security codes in our databases.
The current public checkout is a demonstration, not a connected Stripe payment flow. It does not send its card fields to a payment provider or our signup database, charge a card, or activate a subscription. Entered payment fields are cleared during navigation. Please do not enter real card details into the demonstration.
7. Email choices
Signing up for the daily tip requests an email containing a tip and related OddsBoss offers. You can unsubscribe using the link in a delivered marketing email or by emailing [email protected] from the address you want removed. A double-opt-in confirmation, when used, must be completed before that confirmed mailing-list subscription starts.
If your address is waiting in the signup store and you have not received an email, you can still ask us to remove it by email. We may retain a minimal suppression record where needed to honor your opt-out. An email opt-out does not cancel a paid membership; cancellation instructions are in our Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
8. Retention, security, and transfers
We keep signup information while needed to provide the emails you requested, manage consent and opt-outs, or respond to a deletion request. We retain billing, dispute, and legal records only as needed for those purposes and applicable requirements. Short-lived abuse-prevention records support signup rate limits; they are not a permanent raw-IP history. Deletion may be subject to narrow legal, fraud-prevention, or suppression-record exceptions.
We limit access to people and providers who need it, and use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards. No internet service can promise absolute security. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard, we use an appropriate lawful mechanism.
9. Access, deletion, and other rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain uses. Contact [email protected] to make a request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify the request, but do not ask you to email a password or full payment-card details.
We will respond within applicable legal deadlines, explain any exception, and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also have a right to complain to a relevant privacy regulator or appeal a decision, where applicable. Authorized agents may contact us with evidence of their authority.
10. Age limit and policy changes
OddsBoss is intended for people aged 21 or older. We do not knowingly seek personal information from people under 21. If you believe a minor has supplied information, contact [email protected] so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
We will update the date on this page when the policy changes and provide additional notice or choices for material changes where required. A policy change does not retroactively replace a consent requirement.
